Green Leases for Commercial Buildings
The Energy Department launched an online resource on March 20th to assist commercial buildings owners in developing "green leases", to encourage energy efficiency. Green leases are also called energy-aligned leases, high performance leases, or energy efficient leases, and with the guidance, case studies and toolkits offered on the website, owners and tenants will be better equipped to align their energy conservation interests. DOE will hold a webinar on March 26th to highlight strategies and educate users on the resources in the library.
